I denne studien av 2045 skoleelever ble det avdekket at sosiale forhold på skolen viser en sammenheng med elevers tanker om å slutte på skolen. De som syns de fikk lite støtte fra lærere og som opplevde ensomhet hadde i større grad tanker om å slutte på skolen.

The psychosocial work environment affects return to work after participation in a return to work-programme

In a cohort study of sick-listed employees who participated in a return to work-programme, the probability of returning to work was four times as high for employees who experienced a combination of low psychological job demands and high decision control. High levels of social support tripled the chance of returning.
